Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are trying to enter the territory of Sumy region almost along the entire border. The head of the Sumy Regional State Administration Volodymyr Artyukh told Suspilne about this, Komersant ukrainskyi reports

“As for the enemy sabotage groups, they are entering almost the entire length of the contact line, from Shostka district to the settlements of Okhtyrka district. That is, their activities have intensified. Now the Russian army has pulled up serious reserves there,” said Artyukh.

The intensity of shelling will be quite high in the border area, he noted.

“Therefore, I once again appeal to people to leave these border settlements and communities,” added the head of the CMA.

According to him, there are no civilians in Novenke Yunakivska community, which is currently in the “gray” zone. Local authorities are planning to evacuate eight settlements, which is 543 people, including 20 children.

“Unfortunately, this is a problem today, that people write refusals and are not going to evacuate. 20 children live in these 8 settlements. The Defense Council has set a task to evacuate them promptly,” said Volodymyr Artyukh.

As reported by Kommersant Ukrainian, difficult battles are taking place on the border in Sumy region. Russian occupation forces are trying to break through.

Earlier, the Russian Telegram channel Mash wrote that Russian troops are trying to take control of the so-called Life Line, the only paved road between Ukrainian Yunakivka and Russian Sudzha, to complicate the supply and logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

And a few days ago, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said that Russian occupation forces are trying to break through the border in Sumy region to cut off the logistics routes of the Ukrainian military.
