Russian occupants shelled civilian energy infrastructure in Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
It is noted that in Sumy region, substations were switched off during the air raid.
“A fire broke out at one substation as a result of a missile and drone attack, which cut off power to more than 281,000 consumers in 601 settlements, as well as industrial enterprises in two regions. The power supply has now been partially restored,” the statement said.
According to the report, a substation, household consumers and a mine were cut off from power supply in Donetsk Oblast due to shelling; no people were in the mine at the time of the incident.
In Cherkasy region, an overhead line was disconnected as a result of the fall of UAV debris, and substations and household consumers were cut off, but power has now been restored.
In Chernihiv region , overhead lines were disconnected due to rocket attacks, which cut power to more than 2,000 customers in 22 settlements, but power has now been partially restored.

As a result of an enemy attack in Sumy region, more than 281,000 consumers in 601 settlements were cut off from power supply.
As a result of adverse weather conditions, 46 settlements in Khmelnytskyi region, 2 settlements in Dnipropetrovska region and 1 settlement in Chernihiv region were cut off from electricity supply.
No further power outages are planned for today.
