The Russians are looking for ways to hide from Ukrainian snipers… And help came from where they did not expect it!

Russians are looking for ways to hide from the work of Ukrainian snipers. But it looks like they won’t have to try very hard.
Just the other day, we all admired the work of a couple of snipers from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine who killed 22 Russian occupiers in just one night.
As it turned out, it was not only the heroism, concentration and coolness of the snipers of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine that were remarkable, but also the thermal imaging optics of the Special Forces, which is developed and produced in Ukraine.
We are talking about the well-known Kyiv-based company Archer (Thermal Vision Technologies LLC), which has been in close contact with the Ukrainian security forces since 2014 and supplies them with high-quality products that allow them to destroy the enemy more effectively at any time of the day. At the same time, Archer products do not stand still, but are constantly evolving and improving their performance.
Currently, the Russians are looking for ways to deceive the sniper groups of the Joint Forces Operation at night, in particular, they have developed an “invisibility cloak” that is covered with a special substance and hides the object from the thermal imager. Such cloaks can become a new challenge not only for our military who operate at night, but also for companies that develop thermal imagers.
However, the challenge for Archer, as it turned out, will not be “invisibility cloaks”, the antidote to which, I am sure, the “archers” would quickly find, but the proceedings and cases that are brought against the company in Ukraine, thereby disrupting its systematic work, both in terms of production and product improvement. In addition, in October 2023, design drawings and documentation, as well as software products, were copied from the company as part of the cases.
I’m not hinting at anything, but in October 2023, data on Archer’s developments were copied, and in January 2024, the Russians got their first “invisibility cloaks”.
In general, it’s all strange. The main supplier of products for the best snipers in Ukraine, who shoot the occupiers like game, finds itself under “investigative” pressure, and a few months after the company’s searches, the enemy gets equipment that counteracts its products.
This is how we live. This is how we fight..
