Russians attacked six regions of Ukraine with missiles, there are dead. Part of Kyiv is without electricity

On the morning of 7 February, Russia launched several attacks on Ukrainian regions using 64 aircraft, the citing information from the Ukrainian Air Force.

The aircraft included 44 cruise, ballistic and anti-aircraft missiles, as well as 20 drones. Air defence forces destroyed 44 air targets.

Some of the missiles reached Kyiv and Kyiv region.

As of 10:23 a.m., more than 10 people were reported injured in Kyiv and two people were killed, according to the KIAA.

“The third missile attack on Kyiv in 2024. The enemy used X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the territory of Russia. The missiles hit the capital in several waves from different directions. The air defence forces and means hit about two dozen enemy missiles over Kyiv and in the area of the capital,”

– the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.

As a result of the missile strike, a fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building in the Holosiivskyi district, the building is burning from 10 to 15 floors. Fifty-two people were evacuated from the building and eight were rescued.

Cars and a service station also caught fire. In Dniprovsky district, the debris of a downed missile damaged two high-voltage lines and a heating main.

“As a result of the enemy attack, two high-voltage lines in the capital were damaged by missile fragments. Some consumers on the left bank are currently without electricity,”

– said Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Fragments of a frozen missile fell in the Kyiv region, injuring 2 people, but not life-threateningly. At least 10 private houses were damaged.

Mykolaiv was hit hard. One person was killed and 10 residential buildings were destroyed.

Explosions were heard in Kharkiv. There is information about hits to non-residential buildings.

In the Lviv region, Russians hit an industrial facility in Drohobych. There were no casualties in the Dnipropetrovs’k region.
