On the evening of 3 September, the Russian occupiers conducted an air strike on Sumy. The target was the building of one of the universities. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.
“In the evening, on 3 September, Russians carried out an air strike on a building of one of the universities in Sumy,” the authority said in a statement.
According to preliminary data, the Russians used a guided aerial bomb (UAB) for the attack. The necessary services are working at the scene.
The JMA noted that the consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified.
It should be noted that the Russian army attacked an educational institution in Poltava. The enemy fired two ballistic missiles at this institution and a neighbouring hospital.
One of the buildings of the Institute of Communications was partially destroyed. There are 271 injured and 51 dead.
