Russia strikes Barabashovo market in Kharkiv with drones: there are victims

On the night of February 6, the Russian army attacked the city of Kharkiv with a UAV. The hit damaged the city’s largest market and a transportation company. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, according to Komersant ukrainskyi.
According to him, trade pavilions caught fire.
Online reports say that it is the Barabashovo market.
Dmytro Chubenko, a spokesman for the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office, said that the Russians used a Geranium-2 UAV to fire.
In Kyivskyi district, a drone hit the roof of the largest market in Kharkiv (Barabashovo shopping center), damaging dozens of trade pavilions, with no casualties. In Novobavarsky district, the enemy shelled a transportation company.
“An enemy drone hit the roof of Kharkiv’s largest market there, the explosion damaged dozens of trade pavilions. Security guards who were at the scene were injured,” said Dmytro Chubenko.
According to the spokesman, at 01:00 am an enemy drone hit the territory of an infrastructure transport company in Novobavarskyi district. There were no injuries here either, the regional prosecutor’s office said.
The investigation is being conducted under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war)
It should be noted that this is the second time during the full-scale invasion that Russians have hit this market. They already tried to destroy it in 2022.
