Russia terrorized with “shaheds” at night: photos of the aftermath in Poltava, Odesa and Kharkiv

On the night of April 23, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with drone strikes, particularly in Poltava, Odesa, and Kharkiv. This was reported by the State Emergency Service and representatives of local authorities, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Attack on Poltava
Three people were injured in a massive Russian drone strike on Poltava.
The State Emergency Service reported that only the city’s civilian infrastructure came under enemy attack. Residential buildings, businesses, warehouses and garages were damaged.
One of the drones fell near a high-rise building, smashing windows and damaging the facade.
Fires also broke out, and rescuers are still extinguishing them as of the morning.











The actinghead of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut, said that the hits were on enterprises and open areas near civilian objects in Podilsky and Shevchenkivsky districts of Poltava.
He also wrote that 13 attack UAVs attacked the city at night. Some of them were shot down by air defense forces.
“A private house was destroyed in the Podolsky district. Several multi-storey and private buildings and warehouses of two civilian enterprises were damaged. In Shevchenkivskyi district, two office buildings and several high-rise buildings were damaged. In addition, several cars were damaged,” said Kohut.
Six people were injured as a result of the strike. Three of them refused hospitalization. The rest of the people were hospitalized, one of them was seriously injured.



Attack on Odesa
Odesa was also attacked by Russian drones at night, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper.
This time, the Russians targeted the civilian infrastructure of the Odesa suburbs. The strike resulted in a series of fires, and two people were injured.
The State Emergency Service clarified that residential buildings and private businesses caught fire.







Attack on Kharkiv
Kharkiv was also under attack. Mayor Igor Terekhov reported three explosions overnight.
Rescuers wrote that at night the city was again under massive attacks by Russian UAVs. Civilian objects were targeted, resulting in large-scale fires and destruction of buildings.
According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties. As of this morning, firefighting and rubble removal operations are ongoing.
