On the morning of February 12, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the nighttime shelling of Ukraine and noted that this terror will not stop by itself. Zelensky wrote about this on social media, according to Komersant ukrainskyi.
“Last night, Russia attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and drones. Apartment buildings, office buildings, and civilian infrastructure were damaged. All our services are working on the ground to help people and eliminate the consequences of this terror,” the president wrote.
He noted that as of now, one person has been reported dead in Kyiv. Four others were injured, including a child.
The President emphasized that Russia’s terror will not stop by itself. The Kremlin is not ready for peaceful negotiations – instead, it continues to destroy Ukrainian cities and kill civilians.
The Head of State called on the partners to take strong steps and put pressure on Russia “for the sake of a fair end to this war”.
“This terror of Russia against Ukraine will not stop by itself. Putin is not preparing for peace – he continues to kill Ukrainians and destroy cities. Only strong steps and pressure on Russia can stop this terror. Right now we need the unity and support of all our partners in the struggle for a just end to this war,” the President said.

It should be noted that Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles on the morning of Wednesday, February 12. The Russian missile strike killed one person and injured four, including a child.
