Russia massively attacks Kyiv with missiles and drones: fires in 3 districts

On the night of April 24, 2025, explosions were heard in Kyiv. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an attack on the Ukrainian capital by enemy drones and missiles, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Air defense forces are working in the capital against enemy UAVs. Stay in shelters!”, – said Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The Kyiv regional military administration noted that air defense is operating in the region.
“The air alert continues. There is a missile attack. We ask everyone to stay in shelters. Air defense is operating in the region. Under no circumstances should you take photos or videos of our defense forces, the downing of air targets or their fall. Stay calm,” the Kyiv Regional Military Administration added.
At the time of writing, debris was recorded falling in the Shevchenkivskyi district, Sviatoshynskyi district and at another address in Holosiivskyi district. Emergency services and medics are on the scene.
“We are calling medics to Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
The enemy attack on the capital continues. Stay in shelters,” Klitschko said.
The KCMA clarified that a residential building is on fire in Sviatoshynskyi district, cars are on fire in Holosiivskyi district, and non-residential buildings are on fire in Shevchenkivskyi district.
