Russia attacks Kyiv with missiles: one killed, 4 injured

Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles on the morning of Wednesday, February 12. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
The air raid alarm sounded in the capital at 04:27. A series of explosions were heard for several minutes.
“Attention! Threat of ballistic missile attack from the northeast,” the air force said in a statement at 04:31.
Later, the KCIA and Kyiv City State Administration reported that air defense was operating in the capital.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote about one dead and three injured in the Obolon district.
“There is currently one dead in the Obolon district. But there are already three injured, two of them were hospitalized by doctors, one was treated on the spot,” he said in his telegram channel.
Later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the number of victims had increased to four.
Among the victims is a 9-year-old girl. She was hospitalized.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that a fire broke out in an office building in the Obolon district from the 7th to the 1st floor. Rescuers extinguished the fire in the partially destroyed office building.





In Holosiivskyi district, a large-scale fire was recorded in a warehouse building on the area of 600 square meters.
In Sviatoshynskyi district, the roof of a nine-story building caught fire.
In Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out on the territory of a private enterprise. There is no electricity in Obolonsky district, according to Suspilne correspondents.




The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reports that Russia attacked Kyiv region with attack drones and missiles at night.
