On the night of May 7, Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. The attack resulted in a fire. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“As a result of the fall of debris, a fire broke out in the Solomyansky district,” the head of the KMDA said
At the same time, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that medics are on their way to Solomyansky district after receiving a call.
“We have received a call for medics to Solomyansky district. There are rocket fragments falling there. The team is on its way,” Klitschko said.
Tkachenko clarified that a fire broke out in a non-residential building, and information about the victims is being established.
“In the Solomyansky district, a fire broke out in a warehouse on an area of about 300 square meters. Emergency services are working at the scene,” Klitschko added.
