The head of the KMIA, Timur Tkachenko, said that the wreckage of the enemy UAV fell on the territory of the school in the Darnytskyi district.
According to him, the drone’s wreckage fell directly on the school grounds, but there was no fire and no injuries.
“Fortunately, there were no injuries and no fire,” he added.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
The incident took place amid a massive kamikaze drone attack in Ukraine. As of 7:50 a.m., according to monitoring resources, there were more than 25 enemy UAVs in the country’s airspace.
An air alert was declared in the capital and a number of regions.
