Rolex will no longer violate the rules of outdoor advertising in Kyiv

In the capital, a store of the famous Rolex watch brand has changed its facade sign, thus bringing its design in line with the requirements of the Kyiv City State Administration’s Advertising Department and Kyivreklama, said Valentyn Mondriyivskyi, deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Komersant ukrainskyi reports

“No, this is not a Rolex advertisement. Although… as a responsible business that adheres to the established requirements – yes,” Valentyn Mondriyevsky wrote on social media.

This time, the prestigious establishment in the city center eliminated the violation and brought its advertising design in line with the rules.

“Seriously, another structure in the city center has been brought into compliance with the rules: at first, the sign was made in the form of separate three-dimensional letters on a black background. But in the historic part of the city, as well as on cultural heritage sites, this is not allowed,” Mondriyevsky said.

The KCSA Advertising Department together with Kyivreklama obliged the establishment to change the design.

“The KCSA Advertising Department and Kyivreklama are constantly working to bring city signs up to standards. This time, a prestigious institution in the center eliminated the violation and showed how to act in the interests of the city,” said Valentyn Mondriyevsky.

He also emphasized that up-to-date information on the rules of advertising and signage placement can be found on the official website of the Department.

“Each such change is a contribution to preserving the historical atmosphere of the capital. We are glad that more and more businesses support these initiatives,” the official added.
