Missile strike in Kharkiv region: a baby is killed, 3 women wounded

A two-month-old baby was killed as a result of two missile strikes by the army of the Russian aggressor country on Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv region. The head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Telegram, according to
“Around 2:30 a.m. in Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, a three-storey hotel was destroyed by two S-300 missile strikes from the occupiers,”
– he said.
The attack killed a two-month-old boy born on 4 December 2023. The baby’s body was recovered from the rubble of the hotel.
Three women aged 21, 28 and 39 were also injured. They were hospitalised with injuries and shrapnel wounds, including the mother of the deceased child.
Patients aged 39 and 28 are in the trauma unit with fractured limbs. Doctors assess their condition as satisfactory. a 21-year-old woman, the mother of the deceased child, is in moderate condition in surgery.
Doctors are currently conducting all necessary examinations and further treatment.
As a result of the shelling, seven private houses, 19 civilian infrastructure objects (shops, cafes, kiosks), two administrative buildings, and at least five civilian vehicles were damaged.
