Russian missile attack: critical infrastructure facilities damaged in Lviv region

Today, January 15, Russia launched massive missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine. Critical infrastructure facilities were damaged in the Lviv region. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the head of the Air Defense Ministry, Maxim Kozitsky.

During the first air alert, which lasted from 01:35 to 02:48, an enemy attack drone flew into the territory of Lviv region. Military air defense destroyed it.

“There were no casualties, injuries or destruction,” noted Kozytskyi.

During the morning alert, which lasted from 06:12 to 08:12, the enemy attacked Lviv region with cruise missiles.

“Two critical infrastructure facilities were hit in Drohobych and Stryi districts. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there was damage. Life support systems in the region are operating normally. No power outages are currently being introduced,” he said.

Later, Kozytskyi clarified that a residential building and an outbuilding were damaged as a result of the rocket fall in Sknyliv village, Zolochiv district. There were no casualties or injuries.

A crater with a diameter of 6 by 5 meters and a depth of about 2.5 meters was formed near the house.

All specialized services were sent to the scene.

It should be noted that starting at 6 a.m. Kyiv time, the Russians attacked Ukrainian civilian targets with X-22, X-101/555 and Kalibr missiles. The entire territory of Ukraine, including the western regions, came under attack.
