Rada dismisses Minister of Veterans Affairs Laputina

Today, on 7 February, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Yulia Laputina from the post of Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. She had previously submitted her resignation. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reports
302 MPs voted in favour of Laputina’s resignation.

“Moreover, the relevant Committee on Social Policy noted the unsatisfactory work of the ministry. All the speakers, both from the government and the opposition, criticised the minister in their speeches,”
– zhelezyak added.
Yulia Laputina did not come to the report, Zhelezyak said.
on 5 February, it became known that Yulia Laputina had written a letter of resignation. On the same day, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said that the letter was in the parliament.
The Verkhovna Rada appointed Laputina to the post of Minister of Veterans Affairs in December 2020.
