The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted Bill No. 10062, which provides for the creation of a Unified Military Register of Persons Liable for Military Service. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on his Telegram channel, reports .

According to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, “the draft law provides for the improvement of the register of conscripts, persons liable for military service and reservists, in particular, in terms of establishing interaction between the registers, using data on military registration, etc.” This means that the Ministry of Defence will have access to the registers of other government agencies, such as the Tax Service, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, etc.

Thus, the Ministry of Defence will have information about citizens that they provided to other state bodies for other purposes, including phone numbers, email addresses, information about their actual place of residence, etc. Once the relevant electronic register is created, all information will be contained in the electronic cabinet of the person liable for military service.

Another important provision of the document is the possibility of obtaining the status of combatant online, provided that all the necessary information is available in the system.
