Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga reacted to Russia’s night attack on Ukraine. The minister noted that the enemy rejects Ukraine’s proposal for a ceasefire, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

On the night of May 7 , Russian troops attacked Kyiv again.

The attack killed at least two people and injured several others, including four children with burns.

Sibiga called the night attack a direct response by Putin to Ukraine’s unconditional offer of a 30-day or longer ceasefire.

“Putin is responding with such brutal attacks to Ukraine’s unconditional offer of a 30-day or longer ceasefire. He is deliberately mocking the peace efforts of the United States,” he said.

The minister added that it is necessary to increase pressure on Moscow to end the war in Ukraine.

Sibiga also emphasized that these strikes are another reminder of why it is “absolutely unacceptable” to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the defeat of the Nazis together with Putin’s Russia.

“This is also another reminder why celebrating the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazism together with Putin’s Russia is unacceptable. These are not liberators, but war criminals,” the Foreign Minister said.
