Putin announces a new truce

28 April 14:42

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has announced a new truce in the Russian-Ukrainian war on the days of the Victory Day celebrations.

This was reported by the TASS propaganda agency, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Thus, the new truce will start at midnight on May 8 and will last until midnight on May 11. The Russian authorities hope that Ukraine will also join this initiative.

In the event of a violation of the ceasefire, the Russian army will be ready to give an “adequate and effective response.”

“The Russian side once again declares its readiness for peace talks without preconditions aimed at eliminating the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis and constructive cooperation with international partners,” the Kremlin emphasized.

Easter “truce”

On the eve of Easter, the Russian dictator allegedly ordered a “halt to all hostilities” from 18:00 on April 19 to 00:00 on April 21. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded that Ukraine was ready to join the format of a complete ceasefire and would act in a mirror image of Russia’s actions, i.e. “silence in response to silence, strikes to protect against strikes.”

However, on April 20 alone, Ukraine recorded more than 2,000 violations of the ceasefire by the Russians.

Meanwhile, the President of Ukraine proposed that Russia abandon all long-range drone and missile strikes on civilian infrastructure for at least 30 days, with the possibility of extending this period.
