Ukrainian defender and hospitalist Kateryna Polishchuk, known as the legendary Ptashka from Azovstal, has announced a fundraiser for drones for soldiers in the Pokrovsk sector. She wrote about it on Facebook, according to Komersant ukrainskyi

“URGENT!!! Pokrovske is a complete arsehole. No exaggeration. While everyone is happily hooting and hollering about Kursk, Pokrovsk is a few weeks away. The cities where I had coffee a month ago are already occupied. The city where I lived for the last two weeks is already being hit by shells. All the safe villages where I rested after my positions are occupied. The deep rear, where I was refuelling the car and taking care of the wounded, is on the front line. It just doesn’t fit in my head. I simply do not believe in this pace,”
– the fighter writes.
Ptashka emphasises that there are guys from the 59th Brigade in the Pokrovsk sector, with whom she has a lot of connections, so she simply cannot pass by.
“I’m launching a big fundraiser for drones, fps, antennas, eco-flo, flight equipment for the fighters of the 59th Brigade who are holding the Pokrovske line, the road to Dnipro. Not a single drone will remain in a warehouse, not a single penny will be used to buy another star for another commander. I will personally hand over all the drones to the soldiers themselves, dividing them fairly among their units. Now, more than ever, we need your donation,”
– she wrote.
The author of the largest donation will receive a new shell casing, which she is currently painting. Ten random people who donate 100 UAH or more will receive a signed flag or a chevron.
