According to Ekonomichna Pravda, the sold assets include petrol stations of the brands AVIAS, ANP, ELION and YUKON. The publication also notes that the sale was preceded by a court decision in 2023, when the Central Commercial Court of Appeal upheld PrivatBank’s appeal to lift the ban on the return of 245 petrol stations leased to companies affiliated with Kolomoisky’s Privat group.
The history of these petrol stations dates back to 2016, when the bank took over 248 petrol stations in compliance with the NBU’s requirements. After that, even before the nationalisation, these facilities were leased to companies affiliated with Privat Group, which then subleased them to other companies of the same group.
“In 2011, Mykola Lagun (owner of Delta Bank) sold Kolomoisky a network of 120 ANP petrol stations for $100 million. And now PrivatBank has sold twice as many petrol stations (and 33 land plots – ) for just UAH 700 million (about $17 million – ). Business.”
