The Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the current situation at the frontlines. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi
reports with reference to the official Telegram channel of the head of state.
“Report of the Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The frontline is first and foremost. Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions. Operation in the Kursk region – strengthening our positions and replenishing the exchange fund for Ukraine,” the post reads.
Situation in the Kursk direction (Russia)
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have made advances of 1-3 km in some areas of the Kursk region. Fighting is taking place near the village of Mala Loknya. The Ukrainian military hopes to replenish the exchange fund with captured Russian soldiers. The enemy soldiers are to be exchanged for captured Ukrainians held in Russia.
The situation in the eastern part of Ukraine
Intense fighting is taking place in the Pokrovske and Toretske directions. Ukrainian troops’ logistics systems are working smoothly.
