Weather forecast in Ukraine for May 17: rains, wind and coolness

Today, May 17, cloudy weather with clearing is expected in Ukraine. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
Most regions will experience light rains, while the southern, central, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions will see moderate precipitation during the daytime. In the eastern and most western regions, no significant precipitation is expected at night.
Wind of variable direction: north-west, on the Left Bank – southeast, at a speed of 5-10 m/s. During the daytime, gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are possible on the Left Bank.
The air temperature at night will be 6-11° Celsius, while in the west of the country it is expected to be cooler – 2-7° above zero. During the day, thermometers will show 11-16° Celsius, and in the east and southeast the air will warm up to 18-23°. In the Carpathians, rain with sleet is forecast, with temperatures of 2-7° above zero throughout the day.
In the Kyiv region and in the capital, it will also be cloudy with clearings throughout the day. During the day, moderate rains are possible, the wind will be northwest, 5-10 m/s. The temperature in Kyiv region will be 6-11° at night and 11-16° during the day. In Kyiv, the night temperature will remain at 6-8°, while during the day it will warm up to 12-14°.
