on May 23, 2025, contrasting weather is expected in Ukraine: some regions will be covered by thunderstorms, hail and strong winds, while others will be warm and dry as in summer. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
The atmospheric front will bring rains and thunderstorms
In the western regions, as well as in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Odesa, the weather will be determined by an active atmospheric front. It will cause:
- Moderate short-term rains
- Thunderstorms in the afternoon, sometimes hail
- Wind gusts – squalls of 15-20 m/s
Significant precipitation is possible in some places.
In other regions – no precipitation and warmth
In the rest of the country, the weather will remain anticyclonic – without precipitation, with partly cloudy weather. Warm air will come from the south, which will increase the daytime temperature.
