Weather forecast for February 21: whether to expect snow and where it will be coldest

on February 21, a high atmospheric pressure field will prevail in Ukraine, bringing mostly dry weather. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.

A cold air mass from the northeast will continue to keep the frosts, but the sun will partially compensate for the winter chill during the day. Forecasters do not predict significant precipitation, only in the east and southeast there may be light snow.

The night is expected to be frosty due to low cloud cover. In the western regions, the wind will change direction to the southeast, and in general, the northeast wind will prevail at a speed of 5-10 m/s.

At night, the temperature will drop to 9-14° Celsius, and in the eastern and some western regions, in some places to 15-18° Celsius. During the day, temperatures will range from 2 to 7 degrees below zero. In Transcarpathia and Crimea, night temperatures will reach 5-10° below zero, and during the day there may be a slight warming to 2° above zero.

Partly cloudy weather without precipitation is expected in the Kyiv region and in the capital. However, there may be icy conditions on the roads, which requires increased attention from drivers and pedestrians.

Northeast wind will reach a speed of 5-10 m/s. The temperature regime will remain frosty: in Kyiv region, the temperature will drop to 9-14° Celsius at night and will fluctuate between 2-7° Celsius during the day. In Kyiv, the temperature is expected to be 10-12° below zero at night and 4-6° below zero during the day.
