Weather forecast for March 19: snow, rain and ice on the roads

Today, March 19, it will still be cool in Ukraine – 0-5 degrees below zero at night and 3-8 degrees during the day. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
The weather in Ukraine on March 19 is expected to be cool and wet due to the influence of an air mass moving from the northwest. Forecasters predict cloudy weather with clearings, but without significant precipitation in most of the territory.
Light snow, and rain in the afternoon, is expected only in the eastern, most northern and central regions, as well as in Odesa region in the afternoon. In the rest of the country, precipitation is not expected, which will allow you to enjoy a relatively calm day.
At the same time, you should be careful on the roads: in most regions, except for the south, icy conditions will remain in some places at night and in the morning, which may hamper traffic. The wind will be mostly northwesterly, with a speed of 5-10 m/s, but in the Azov region, gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are possible during the day, which will make it feel cool.
The temperature regime will be typical for mid-March: at night, the thermometer will drop to 1-6° below zero, and during the day it will rise to a comfortable 3-8° above zero. In the Carpathians, the weather will remain more wintry – 7-12° Celsius at night and only 1-6° Celsius during the day, which will delight fans of winter recreation in the mountains.
