Weather forecast for February 12: severe frost and ice

on February 12, Ukraine will experience frosty but snowless weather – an anticyclone. This night it is expected to be -5-11 degrees, with the coldest regions being Luhansk, Kharkiv, and Sumy. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, Komersant ukrainskyi reports

On Wednesday afternoon, it is expected to be -2-6 degrees, in the south of Ukraine and in the western regions it will be significantly warmer, 0-3 degrees, and in Transcarpathia 3-7 degrees.

In Kyiv, it will be dry and frosty on February 12. At night -9 degrees, during the day -2 degrees.

Forecasters at the Ukrainian Weather Center report that the country will continue to have an anticyclonic influence, which means no precipitation is expected.

There may be icy conditions on the roads of the northeastern regions, so drivers and pedestrians should be careful.

“Starting February 14, atmospheric fronts will arrive in the western regions, bringing snow. All those who dream of snow and snowballs can rejoice. Winter continues, frost will prevail, which is logical in winter, no matter what you say,” said Didenko.

on February 13-15, it will get a little warmer in Ukraine, but it won’t last long, as it will get colder again next week. Although no severe frosts are expected, moderate frosts can still pinch.
