Bulgarian Prime Minister and ministers arrive in Ukraine (photo)

Today, 26 February, Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and his delegation arrived in Ukraine on a working visit. This was reported by the with reference to the Bulgarian newspaper BNT.
The Bulgarian delegation arrived in Ukraine by train.
The Bulgarian delegation also includes the Ministers of Justice, Environment and Energy – Atanas Slavov, Yulian Popov and Rumen Radev, Deputy Ministers of Defence and Foreign Affairs – Stanimir Georgiev and Tikhomir Stoychev, as well as the head of the Defence Ministry, Admiral Emil Eftimov.
The Bulgarian newspaper did not provide details of the visit.




It should be noted that the Bulgarian government has approved the supply of almost a hundred armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine. It was a matter of approving a draft agreement between the Bulgarian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine on the free provision of armoured vehicles. The provision of armoured vehicles that are not used by the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence was agreed during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the country in July 2023.
