“Air Alert” will notify of an approaching missile or UAV

The Air Alert app, which notifies Ukrainians of threats, will now warn of increased danger in certain cities and communities – the approach of an enemy missile or drone . This was announced by the developer of Ajax, Kommersant Ukrainian reports 
“In the updated version 6.0, notifications of an approaching missile or unmanned aerial vehicle will be received additionally during the general alarm. Such announcements will allow people to be notified of the threat to their location,”
– the statement said.
To receive additional threat notifications, you need to install the Air Alert app version 6.0 or update the existing one. The update is already available for iOS and Android users.
To receive notifications about an approaching air target, you should select a region, city or territorial community in the app. Additional notifications will not be sent if you select only a region or district. There will be no separate signal about the absence of targets, so you will need to take cover until the alert is over.
It is noted that, in addition to the new warning, the app has added
- adjusting the volume of the “Increased danger!” notification
- a notification if the “Increased Danger!” notifications stop coming.
It was also reminded that information about all types of danger is transmitted by the responsible civil defence officers in the military regional administrations of Ukraine. Alarms are coordinated by the SES on duty.
