More than 220 battles per day: General Staff tells about the situation at the front

Over the last day, November 26, 224 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The largest number of clashes was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the report ofthe General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile strike using one missile and 45 air strikes, including 76 drones. In addition, it carried out more than four thousand attacks, including 142 from multiple launch rocket systems and used about 1300 kamikaze drones to attack.

The aggressor carried out air strikes in the areas of Bilovody, Spaske in Sumy region; Pytomnyk, Vysoka Yaruga, Kurylivka in Kharkiv region; Ivanivka, Lyman, Zarichne, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Katerynivka, Kramatorsk, Zelene, Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Uspenivka, Komar in Donetsk region; Pavlivka, Mala Tokmachka, Temyrivka in Zaporizhzhia region.

Situation at the frontline

In the Kharkiv sector, five hostile attacks took place in the vicinity of Vovchansk yesterday, with the enemy actively using bombers.

Inthe Kupyansk sector, 18 occupants’ attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault towards Hryhorivka, Zelenyi Hai, Zahryzove, Senkove, Kolisnykivka, Synkivka and Andriivka.

Inthe Liman sector, the enemy attacked 21 times. He tried to advance near Hrekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Terny, Torske and in the area of Serebryanske forestry.

Yesterday, the enemy tried to force our defenders from their positions near Hryhorivka in the Siverskyi sector by assault once. It was unsuccessful.

Thirteen attacks took place in the Kramatorsk sector yesterday in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar, Stupky, Bila Hora and Predtechyne.

Inthe Toretsk sector, the enemy actively used bomber aircraft, carrying out six attacks in the vicinity of Diliyivka, Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.

Inthe Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 59 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor towards Myroliubivka, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka, Dachanske, Chumatske, Pustynka and Novyi Trud. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was near the village of Promin.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 46 enemy attacks. The enemy carried out air strikes on the localities. The enemy concentrated its main offensive efforts in the areas of Dachne, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalmine, Katerynivka, Yelizavetivka, Hanivka, Antonivka, Berestky, Zorya and Sontsivka.

Inthe Vremivsk sector, the enemy made 17 attacks on our positions near Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, Rozdolne, Novoandriivka, Vesely Hai, Rozlyv and Rivne.

The invaders did not conduct any offensive actions inthe Huliaypillia and Orikhiv directions, but actively used aviation.

Inthe Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian invaders attacked our positions five times. We received a tough rebuff and suffered losses.

Inthe Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery and aircraft from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.

The operation in the Kursk region continues . Yesterday, the enemy made 263 artillery attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems, 22 air strikes, dropping 30 drones.

Enemy losses

Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted nine strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons.

In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1580 casualties over the last day. Ukrainian troops also neutralized 14 tanks, 48 armored combat vehicles, 24 artillery systems, 1 multiple launch rocket system, 1 air defense system, 64 operational and tactical UAVs, 84 vehicles and 4 units of occupants’ special equipment.

The total enemy combat losses from February 24, 22 to November 27, 24 are estimated to be

• motor vehicles and tankers – 30126 (84) units;
• special equipment – 3687 (4) units.
