On Wednesday, 14 August, Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Olga Taukach died. Her husband, the director and artistic director of the Suzirya theatre, Oleksiy Kuzhelnyi, wrote about it on his page on Facebook, reports [Kommersant].
“My Olya died today. The funeral is on Friday 16 August at 13.00 at 21 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street, Feofaniya Clinic,” Kuzhelny wrote.

What is known about Olga Taukach
Olga Taukach was born on 13 February 1962 in Kyiv.
She graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Faculty of Journalism.
In 1984-1992, she worked as an editor, senior editor of the main information department of the republican radio broadcasting, the State Committee of the Ukrainian SSR for Television and Radio Broadcasting.
In 1992-1993, he was a special correspondent of the reporters’ department of the creative association of information and journalistic programmes of the Ukrainian Radio, State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Ukraine.

Since 1997, she has hosted the talk show “The One” and the series “The One About Himself” on UT-1.

Together with her husband, a film director and People’s Artist of Ukraine, she raised her son Mykola (born in 1986).
