Cold snap and rain: weather forecast for November 2

A cold atmospheric front is approaching Ukraine. It will bring rains and cold weather in almost all regions. This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
“A cold atmospheric front will cross Ukraine. It will cause rains at night and in the morning on Saturday in the west, north and center, and in the afternoon – only in the east and west. The southern part will refrain from precipitation for now,” Didenko said.
She also warned of strong northwest winds. According to her, storm gusts will reach 15-22 m/s.
“In the rear of the cold atmospheric front, air of Arctic origin will spread, which means that it is expected to cool down to 6…10 degrees in the daytime. Only the south will stay in warm weather for a while longer, 11… 16, sometimes up to 16 18 degrees,” the forecast says.
As for the capital, the temperature in Kyiv is expected to drop to 9 degrees. There will also be rains accompanied by stormy winds.
“A strong northwest wind with gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second is expected. There will be light rain in the capital overnight and until lunchtime, but most of the day on Saturday and Sunday, November 3, Kyiv will be free of precipitation,” Didenko emphasized.
