The weather in Ukraine will change significantly after November 20, weather forecaster Natalia Golenya predicts. According to her, active atmospheric fronts will come from the west, bringing difficult weather conditions and precipitation of various kinds, reports Komersant ukrainskyi
“On November 20-21, there will be rains, sleet and snow in the western regions. Wind gusts will reach 15-20 meters per second, and in the Carpathians – up to 25-30 meters per second, with blizzards,”
– noted Golenya.
Precipitation can be so active, she warned, that we should expect snow cover to form.
“Except for the south of the country, the snow cover can reach 3 to 15 centimeters, and in the Carpathians – even 20-50 centimeters,”

In the rest of Ukraine, icy roads and temperature contrasts are expected.
“The temperature background will change: at night, slight frosts from 1 to 6 degrees are possible, and if it clears up, even up to 8 degrees below zero. Such indicators will be mainly in the west, north and in some places in the central regions,”
– she said.
As for the south of the country, according to Natalia Golena, the warm weather will last until November 23.
“The temperature at night will be 1-6 degrees Celsius, during the day – up to 10-13 degrees above zero. However, on November 23-24, the cold will start spreading south from the north. The temperature will drop: at night it will be mild frost to 0, during the day – 1-6 degrees Celsius,”
