The President of Ukraine has signed two laws amending the Tax and Customs Codes to extend tax and customs benefits for the next year. This is reported on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, these laws provide for

– exemption from customs duties for components imported for the production of ammunition and shells,

– extension of benefits for the import of UAVs, night vision devices, anti-drone guns, etc,

– extending the benefits to components for all drones, including land and water drones,

– postponement until January 1, 2027 of the transition to Euro 6 environmental standards for vehicles, which should have been in effect since 2025,

Also, the used car market valuation is canceled, and the gambling business is fully fiscalized, i.e., payment transaction recorders will be used. In addition, tax incentives for national films will remain in place until the end of martial law to support Ukrainian cinema.

Many changes also affect the public sector:

– non-profit organizations have been given the opportunity to help the military and their families without the risk of losing their non-profit status, even if this is not specified in their charters;

– the funds raised by volunteers will no longer be subject to taxation if they are transferred to the accounts of charitable foundations;

– non-profit organizations can provide additional benefits to their employees (up to 5% of income per year) without losing their non-profit status.

The Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research believes that this decision allows civic and charitable organizations to focus on their key tasks – supporting the army, helping the victims and rebuilding the country.
