Border crossing without queues: eCheckpoint becomes available for trucks from 3.5 tons

The eCheck system will be extended to trucks weighing 3.5 tons or less owned by licensed carriers. Previously, the service was available only for vehicles over 7.5 tons. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, Komersant ukrainskyi reports

“During the project, more than 1.5 million trucks have already crossed the border by online registration. Therefore, we are scaling the project further,” said Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development.

During March, the eCheck system will gradually cover smaller trucks. Currently, such vehicles can cross 23 checkpoints, for which online queues will be created to help carriers and drivers plan their work better.

How will the scaling go?

The scaling of eCheck will take place in three stages: march 11, 18, and 25.

At 12:00 every day, the eChezha system will open a record for registration of trucks weighing more than 3.5 tons. Separate queues will be created for these vehicles with the appropriate name.

on March 11, registration in the eCheckpoint for such trucks will start at the checkpoints:

  • Smilnytsia – Kroscienko (Poland).
  • Uzhhorod – Vysne Nemecke (Slovakia).
  • Maly Berezny – Ubl’a (Slovakia).
  • Luzhanka – Beregsurany (Hungary).
  • Dyakove – Halmeu (Romania).
  • Vynohradivka – Vulcanesti (Moldova).

on March 18, registration will be opened at the checkpoints:

  • Hrushev – Budomierz (Poland).
  • Krasnoilsk – Vicova de Sus (Romania).
  • Dyakivtsi – Rakovets (Romania).
  • Mamalyha – Criova (Moldova).
  • Mohyliv-Podilskyi – Otaci (Moldova).
  • August 1 – Basarabeasca (Moldova).
  • Novi Troiany – Chadyr Lunga (Moldova).
  • Tabaki – Mirne (Moldova).

on March 25, it will be possible to register for crossing the border at the checkpoints:

  • Uhryniv – Dolhobyczów (Poland).
  • Nyzhankovychi – Malchovychi (Poland).
  • Chop – Záhony (Hungary).
  • Porubne – Siret (Romania).
  • Rossoshany – Briceni (Moldova).
  • Starokozache – Tudora (Moldova).
  • Maloyaroslavets 1 – Chadyr Lunga (Moldova).
  • Reni – Giurgiulesti (Moldova).
  • Orlivka – Isaccea (Romania).
