Five people were killed and more than fifty injured as a result of another Russian crime

Five people were killed and at least 40 injured in a Russian missile strike on Ukraine on 23 January, reports citing information from Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
According to preliminary reports, three people were killed in Kharkiv and about 30 others were injured when Russian missiles hit two multi-storey buildings. Rescuers are currently inspecting the buildings and clearing the rubble.


One person was killed and at least 18 injured in Kyiv. Several fires broke out as a result of the missile strike, damaging two high-rise buildings, a private house and cars. There was also an incident in the Kyiv region, which injured three people and damaged several buildings and structures.


One person was killed and another injured in a strike on Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovs’k region.
On the morning of 23 January, air raid alerts were sounded across Ukraine. The Air Force reported the possible launch of missiles from Russian Tu-95MS aircraft. In total, according to the Air Force, the enemy fired 41 missiles at Ukraine, including cruise, ballistic, aircraft and anti-aircraft guided missiles. Air defence forces managed to shoot down 21 of them.
