The OnlyFans platform has taken first place among large tech companies in terms of revenue per employee, Komersant ukrainskyi reports, citing Benzinga.
In fiscal year 2023, OnlyFans reported revenue of $1.3 billion. In total, the company employs 42 people, which is extremely small compared to giants like Apple, Google, and Microsoft.
If you divide $1.3 billion by 42, you get about 31 million. For comparison, Microsoft’s revenue per employee is $1.1 million, Apple’s is $2.38 million, and Netflix’s is $2.59 million.
Craigslist is in second place after OnlyFans in terms of revenue per employee. It is an online classifieds website.
Craigslist, a privately held classifieds platform, continues to be among the top companies in terms of revenue per employee. Although its revenue has declined from a peak of $1bn in the late 2010s, its revenue per employee remains one of the highest on the list due to its relatively small team.
It should be noted that the tax authorities have received information on Ukrainian citizens who create paid content on Only Fans.
“The sphere of creating paid content on the Only Fans internet platform by Ukrainian citizens is growing rapidly. The number of accounts increases on average three times a year. For carrying out these activities, users receive money, and some of them receive large sums of money,” said Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy.
For example, citizen C received more than $4 million over several years for creating paid content on the OnlyFans Internet platform. Also, citizen K received more than $3 million from the above activities, and citizen B – about $1.8 million.
