Oleksandr Usyk wants to become a doctor of philosophy. And this is not all his plans

WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) will defend his dissertation. Tribuna.com learned about this from the information system of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
Oleksandr Usyk will defend his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Law at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The 38-year-old boxer’s dissertation topic is “Administrative and legal support for international cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports.”
Usyk is not planning to end his boxing career yet
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the Ukrainian champion shared his plans and, in particular, said that he expects to fight only two more fights in his career.
“I think two years, one and a half [left in boxing]. I feel great. I think I need to prepare [for] two fights, no more. Only two,” the Ukrainian boxer said.
In his next fight, he plans to fight the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker. This fight will take place on February 22. So, in a few days it will be known who the Ukrainian boxer will fight.
As for the forecasts for this fight, Usyk’s team, according to him, is betting 52 percent on Daniel Dubois to win and 48 percent on Joseph Parker.
In an interview, Oleksandr Usyk also said that in the future he would like to hold a fight at a stadium in Kyiv.
The boxer would also like to “work with children not only in sports but also in education.”
“Psychology, a healthy lifestyle, thinking with your own head, not listening to who says what. I want to work with my boys and children to teach them what I can,” said Oleksandr Usyk.
And finally. In an interview with a Polish TV channel, the champion said that he would be happy to become the Minister of Sports and… he will.
