Occupants attack police station in Kharkiv: one killed and 40 injured

Today, on November 1, Russian occupants launched a missile attack on the police station in Kharkiv. One police officer was killed and 40 injured. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vygovsky on Facebook.

“Today, the Russian enemy targeted the police station in the center of Kharkiv with two missiles, killing a police officer and injuring 26 other police officers and four civilians,” Vygovsky wrote.

He specified that police colonel Andriy Matvienko was killed.

According to the head of the National Police, police officers are working at the scene, providing assistance at the site of the hit and documenting another war crime of the occupiers.

As of 22:00, the number of victims of the missile strike on Kharkiv by the Russian Armed Forces has increased to 40 people. One person is dead.

“A police officer was killed, 30 other police officers, a rescuer and nine civilians were wounded,” the communications department of the National Police in Kharkiv region reports.

The strike damaged 20 residential buildings, 6 non-residential buildings, and 11 vehicles.

The headquarters of the investigative department is working at the scene, where people can file claims for property damage.
