The Security Service of Ukraine has served a notice of suspicion in absentia to Russian propagandist singer Grigory Lepsveridze, known by his stage name Leps.
This was reported by the SBU press service, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
According to the evidence, Leps publicly supports and finances Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. After one of his concerts in the summer of 2023, the singer promised to pay the Russian occupiers one million Russian rubles for each destroyed tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also, according to law enforcement, he repeatedly handed over “humanitarian aid” to the Russian occupation groups – bulletproof vests, underwear sets, and food.
SBU investigators served Grigory Lepsveridze a notice of suspicion in absentia under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: article 110-2, part 3 (financing of war) and Article 436-2, part 3 (justification of armed aggression of the Russian Federation and glorification of its participants).
