New route from Ukrzaliznytsia: now it’s even more convenient to get to the Carpathians

“Ukrzaliznytsia has extended the route of the train #203/204 Kyiv – Ivano-Frankivsk to Yasinia. This was reported by the press service of UZ, Komersant ukrainskyi reports

It is noted that the route has a convenient departure time – departure from Kyiv late in the evening (23:00), which means that passengers can complete all their business, comfortably get on the train, rest at night and wake up in the heart of the Carpathians.

And arrival at lunchtime is ideal for checking into a hotel, manor house or recreation center. No waiting at the door – you arrive, check in, and immediately enjoy your vacation.

Schedule:

  • from Kyiv – departure at 23:00, arrival in Yasinia at 14:17.
  • Departure from Yasinia station is at 18:05, so there is time for another walk in the Carpathians before returning.

In addition, maximum comfort on the way will be provided by compartment and second-class cars, the possibility of a good night’s sleep, tea, coffee, and a beautiful view outside the window.

According to UZ, tickets can be purchased in the mobile app or on the UZ website.

It should be noted that due to large-scale work on laying a European-standard track between Chop and Uzhhorod, Ukrzaliznytsia is making temporary changes to the schedule of passenger trains running to Zakarpattia.

The changes will last from March 31 to July 31, 2025.

At the same time, rail connections to Uzhhorod for all regions will be provided by alternative trains.

Which trains are changing their routes

Trains that will run to/from Mukachevo station:

  • no. 17/18 Kharkiv – Uzhhorod;
  • no. 38/37 Odesa – Uzhhorod;
  • no. 125/126-129/130 Kremenchuk/Poltava – Uzhhorod.

Trains running to/from Chop station:

  • no. 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhhorod (from March 31 to July 31);
  • no. 749/750 Kyiv – Uzhhorod (from April 1 to July 31);
  • no. 829/830 Lviv – Uzhhorod (from April 1 to July 31).

Trains that will run to/from Uzhhorod station:

  • no. 59/60 Kyiv – Chop (from March 31 to July 31).

Alternative routes to get to Uzhhorod

At the same time, rail connections to Uzhhorod for all regions will be provided by alternative routes. To do this, Ukrzaliznytsia will run a route through Sambir and Syanky for the following trains from March 31 to July 31:

  • no. 4/3 Zaporizhzhia – Uzhhorod;
  • no. 29/30 Kyiv – Uzhhorod;
  • no. 45/46 Kharkiv – Uzhhorod;
  • no. 368/367 Kovel/Lutsk – Uzhhorod.
