The new head of the Tax Service has made personnel changes

The head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko has made a number of personnel changes concerning both the central office and regional departments. This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Service, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

The dismissals took place in the central office of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

In particular, the following were dismissed:

  • Director of the Risk Management Department;
  • Director of the Department for Control of Excisable Goods.

The Head of the State Tax Service also announced the dismissal of the heads of Odesa, Kharkiv and Dnipro regional departments.

It is noted that these personnel changes are part of the process of optimizing the work of the tax service.

What is known about the new head of the Tax Service?

At a meeting on December 31, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Ruslan Kravchenko, former head of the Kyiv Regional Tax Administration, as the new head of the Tax Service.

In his previous career, Kravchenko worked in the military prosecutor’s office, where his direct supervisor was Anatoliy Matios. He was the head of the Bucha District Prosecutor’s Office, where he worked since March 2021. He tried to become the director of the NABU, but did not pass the competitive selection.

In April 2023, Ruslan Kravchenko became the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, from which he was dismissed on the eve of yesterday’s appointment.

He was awarded the Order of Merit, third class, in August 2022 for his outstanding contribution to the development of the state and protection of its territorial integrity, as well as for his conscientious work.
