ARX Robotics, known worldwide for its robotic solutions, has become a resident of Diia.City and opened an office in Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, reports
According to the official, ARX Robotics has already created 12 different types of robots, and the GEREON RCS development will soon help our soldiers at the front: delivering food and ammunition, as well as evacuating the wounded.
“Thanks to our expertise in warfare, the company will be able to improve its technology. And the improved developments will help our soldiers at the front,” the minister said.
Mykhailo Fedorov believes that residency in Diia.City will allow the company to do business under the most favorable tax conditions, attract Ukrainian specialists, and develop production and research facilities faster.
According to the Minister of Digital Transformation, last year ARX Robotics attracted funding from NATO to develop robots, and now it will be able to scale up thanks to Diia.City’s tools.
Diia.City residents have been helping to defend Ukraine for three years
Already 240 defense-tech companies are residents of Diia.City. This was announced two weeks ago at an event dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of Diia.City by the head of the Ukrainian government Denys Shmyhal.
At the time, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that support for defense-tech companies in Diia.City was a special priority. According to the minister, everything is being done to ensure that such companies work in the best tax conditions, hire employees, and scale up the production of drones, robots, and other technologies that help to exterminate Russians.
