The German parliament has approved a historic spending package that includes military aid to Ukraine worth 3 billion euros. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to The Guardian.

Decisive in the adoption of this package were 513 votes of German parliamentarians (as opposed to the 207 who opposed it), this law provided the necessary two-thirds majority to promote a broad economic and security agenda.

The media has already called the document fundamental and writes that it will entail fundamental changes in the country’s fiscal and defense policies.

The new spending package includes 3 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine, ending a period of political stalemate that delayed the fulfillment of previous commitments.
