On the night of 26 September, Russian troops struck again on the territory of Ukraine, causing deaths and injuries, including children. This was announced by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
According to him, at least eight people, including one child, were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of the bombing. 12 buildings were destroyed and damaged, including an apartment block. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service conducted search and rescue operations and evacuated 18 people.
In addition, Russia shelled Kherson region twice. Two people were injured in an air strike and rescuers unblocked them from the rubble.
In the morning, four apartment buildings and 20 cars were damaged in Kyiv as a result of the fall of a UAV debris, and a gas pipe was depressurised. Two people were injured: a man was wounded and his child suffered an acute stress reaction.
A woman died in Odesa district as a result of a rocket attack. Buildings and cars were damaged.
Russian troops also attacked Kyiv, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. There were no casualties.
