Russian night attack: there are hits in Odesa and Mykolaiv

On the night of 8 February, the Russian occupiers attacked with 17 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. This was reported by with reference to the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that yesterday the enemy launched 17 Shahed-136/131 drones from Cape Chauda in the occupied Crimea.
However, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 11 Shaheds within Mykolaiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia and Dnipro regions.
However, they could not avoid being hit.
The enemy hit the civilian infrastructure of Odesa. An enemy drone strike damaged an unfinished multi-storey building and smashed the windows.
The building of an educational institution was also damaged – the roof was pierced and windows were smashed. No people were injured, the Southern Defence Forces said.
In Mykolaiv, the Russian Federation hit civilian infrastructure again. Residential buildings, an industrial facility and a sports and recreation centre were damaged.




The fire was promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service.
There were no reports of any injuries.
In theVinnytsia region , the wreckage of a downed UAV caused a fire at an infrastructure facility. The fire was contained. Firefighters are completing the extinguishing operations.
No one was injured.
