An unfinished clinic in the center of Kyiv is up for auction: the price starts at UAH 7.5 million

The State Property Fund of Ukraine has announced a privatization auction for the sale of an asset under construction – a children’s urology clinic in the center of Kyiv. The starting price of the lot is UAH 7,469,304, and the auction is scheduled for April 15, 2025. This is reported by the National Electronic Exchange, Komersant ukrainskyi informs

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has announced the sale of an unfinished 80-bed children’s urology clinic in the center of Kyiv. The facility, which belongs to the Vozianov Institute of Urology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, is located at 3/1 Observatorna Street.

Long history of unfinished construction

Construction of the clinic began in the 1980s during the Soviet era. It was planned to create a modern medical facility to treat children with urinary system diseases.

However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the onset of the economic crisis, the project was stopped at an early stage. Over the decades, the building has been discussed several times in society:

in the 2000s, there were attempts to attract investors, but due to bureaucratic obstacles and lack of funding, no plan was implemented.
2010s – options for completion, change of functional purpose or demolition of the facility were considered.
2025 – the first official auction for the sale of this building.
