Over the last day, 124 combat engagements were registered. In particular, the Defence Forces repelled 41 occupants’ assault attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi
with reference to the morning report of the General Staff.
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched five missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using 18 missiles, 65 air strikes (including 107 combat aircraft), and fired 4673 times, 129 of which were from multiple rocket launchers.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Kyianytsia, Yunakivka, Semeykine in Sumy region; Synkivka, Petropavlivka in Kharkiv region; Serebryanka, Diliyivka, Nelipivka, Toretsk, Novodonetske, Novoukrainka, Vodiane, Oleksandropil, Mykolaivka, Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region; Novoandriivka, Lobkove in Zaporizhzhia region.
Situation at the frontline
Inthe Kharkiv sector, the enemy continued assault operations. There were five combat engagements in the area of Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, the number of combat engagements totalled ten hostile attacks. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Pishchane, Berestove and in the direction of Hlushkivka.
In the Liman sector, our troops repelled 21 occupants’ assault attacks in the vicinity of Makiivka, Nevske, Novosadove and in the Serebryansky forest.
In the Siverskyi sector, theUkrainian Armed Forces repelled eight attacks near Ivan-Daryivka, Spirne, Verkhnekamianske and Vyymka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 11 enemy attempts to break through our defences in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Kalynivka and Ivanivske.
In the Toretsk sector , the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out eight attacks. He concentrated his efforts in the areas of Zalizne, Druzhba and New York.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 41 attacks. The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Orlivka and Mykolaivka.
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka. In total, the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops in this area six times.
In the Vremivsk sector, the occupants made two attackson our positions in the direction of Vodiane and Rivne. The enemy was unsuccessful.
In the Orikhivskyi sector, four unsuccessful engagements took place near Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, no positions or territories were lost. Ukrainian troops successfully repelled eight attacks by Russian invaders.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected. The operational situation has not changed significantly.
The enemy maintains a military presenceon the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, actively using aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation and shelling border settlements.
Enemy losses
Over the past day, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces conducted nine strikes on areas where personnel and weapons were concentrated, destroying two command posts, three artillery systems, an ammunition depot and three other important objects of the Russian invaders.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,080 casualties over the past day. Ukrainian troops also neutralised three tanks, five armoured combat vehicles, 65 artillery systems, three MLRS, one air defence system, 73 operational and tactical UAVs, one cruise missile, 66 vehicles and one piece of special equipment.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 12.08.24 are estimated to be
