The hottest fighting continues in the Kursk region: 94 enemy attacks repelled

The 1049th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 218 combat clashes were recorded, of which 94 attacks were repelled in the Kursk region. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the morning report of the General Staff.

Yesterday, the enemy launched 64 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 95 drones, and used 2700 kamikaze drones. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand attacks, 163 of which were from multiple rocket launchers.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Orishanka, Hraniv, Udy, Zolochiv, Artilne, Siversk, Stupochki, Katerynivka, Toretsk, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Oleksandr-Shultine, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Hrodivka, Andriivka, Novopil, Oleksiyivka, Velyka Novosilka, Kostiantynopil, Stepnohirsk.

Situation at the frontline

Inthe Kharkiv sector, our troops repelled three enemy attacks in the area of Vovchansk.

Inthe Kupyansk sector, four occupants’ attacks took place yesterday. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault near the settlements of Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, Topoly and Zahryzove.

The enemy attacked 13 times inthe Liman sector. He tried to advance near Nadiya, Pershotravneve, Terny, Yampolivka, Zarichne and Makiivka.

Inthe Siversky sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Bilohorivka.

Inthe Kramatorsk sector, five firefights were registered in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Bila Hora and in the direction of Stupochky.

Inthe Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out eight attacks near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.

Inthe Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 41 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Ukrainka, Yasenove, Novoyelizavetivka, Tarasivka, Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud and Pokrovsk.

Inthe Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 26 attacks on the positions of our troops near Slovianka, Sribne, Andriivka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.

Inthe Vremivsk sector, the enemy carried out 13 offensives against the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Kostyantynopol, Yantarne, Dachne and Kostyantynopolske.

Inthe Orikhiv sector, our troops successfully repelled one enemy attack near Novodanylivka.

Inthe Prydniprovsky sector, Russian invaders stormed the positions of our units twice without success.

In the operational zone in the Kursk region, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 94 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched nine air strikes, using nine guided bombs, and fired 372 artillery shells at the positions of our troops and settlements.

The enemy did not conduct any assault operations inthe Huliaypillia sector yesterday.

Inthe Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 12 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, two radar stations, two air defense facilities, as well as another important object of the Russian invaders.

In total, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1970 people over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized 10 tanks, 25 armored combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems, two MLRS, four air defense systems, 83 tactical UAVs and 170 units of occupants’ vehicles.
