It will be difficult to drive a car through the Solotvyno-Sighetu-Marmaciei checkpoint for the next 35 days
22 November 12:20Vehicular traffic through the Solotvyno-Sighetu Marmatiei checkpoint for road traffic between Ukraine and Romania will be partially suspended. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
According to the Romanian side, the problems with the passage of vehicles are caused by the emergency situation of the bridge structures across the Tisza River and the work to restore them.
In view of this, it is noted that the passage of vehicles will be suspended from 09.00 to 15.30, from Monday to Friday. It is expected that the suspension of the passage due to repair work will take place for 35 days, starting from November 22, 2024.
Pedestrian traffic at this checkpoint will not be stopped.
